— 3/4/2017 The group assembled for the second seminar. MSU Professor Leonid Borodkin delivered a guest presentation covering the Russian economy since the abolition of serfdom until 1917 to facilitate group members' orientation in the literature on pre-revolutionary economic growth and development.

— 2/2/2017 Group's introductory seminar. Ilya Voskoboynikov went through the details of the group's major project «Long-term Economic Growth and Structural Shifts on the Territory of the USSR and CIS since 1960». Also, issues of methodology and integrity of Soviet statistics were discussed.
