E. Baranov's report on the history of development, methodology and analytical capabilities of USSR's input-output tables

The lead presentation will be the report of HSE's tenured professor E. Baranov on the history of creation, methodology of construction and analytical capabilities of input-output statistical tables in the USSR (description in Russian). The report will also address the issues of compatibility of the contemporary works of Rosstat on the statistics of inter-industry interactions with input-output tables of the past.
E. Baranov if one of the leading developers of the statistical methodology used in USSR's input-output tables. He was awarded the USSR State Prize in Science for a series of papers on this topic.
